"I'll feel better knowing that there's still a little of me in Malibu when you win,"

A new home has been found for one of Sean Penn's Oscar statuettes.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the Ukrainian President, gave one of his Oscar winners a trophy Tuesday as a "symbol of faith" and support in the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine.

In a touching video posted to the 44-year old leader's Instagram account is Penn seen meeting Zelenskyy in Kyiv. The Academy Award for Best Actor in 2004, 2009 and 2009 was won by the actor Penn, 62. He brought an Oscar out of his backpack and gave it to Zelenskyy.

Penn told Zelenskyy that while it's a symbolism silly thing, knowing this will make me feel stronger and more prepared for fights is a better feeling. "When you win bring it back to Malibu. I'll feel better knowing that there's still a little of me."

In the clip, Zelenskyy presented Penn with an Order of Merit Medal. Zelenskyy had another honor for Penn, in addition to the award. The video shows that Zelenskyy took the "I Am Sam” star outside and placed a plaque in his ground with his name.

Penn responded, "There are three places where all the pride in my life will be," Penn stated. "The place my daughter was born, the birthplace of my son, and this."

In the caption of the post, Zelenskyy wrote about the "special" encounter with Penn.

He wrote, "American actor and filmmaker Sean Penn @seanpenn visited Ukraine for the third consecutive time during the full-scale war already." "This was a special meeting. Sean brought his Oscar statuette to symbolize faith in our victory. It will remain in Ukraine until the end the war.

He said, "It was with great joy that I presented Sean Penn the Order of Merit of the III Degree." "Thanks for your sincere support and important contribution to the popularization Ukraine in the rest of the world!"

Zelenskyy also shared a post featuring photos of his meeting with Penn. It included a photo of them standing by Penn's plaque.

Zelenskyy captioned the photo, "The Walk of the Brave" is a place that will help future generations of Ukrainians remember the brave men and women who stood by Ukraine since the beginning." "Next to many names of world leaders who supported Ukraine during wartime, there is a plaque with Sean Penn's name."

"@seanpenn visited Ukraine the first day after the Russian invasion to document and inform the world about Russian aggression," he said. This support is very valuable for Ukraine and its people.

In late February, Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered the invasion of Ukraine. Penn was present in Kyiv to film a Vice Studios documentary on the invasion.

He was seen attending a briefing at Ukraine's presidential office.

According to Fox News, the President of Ukraine posted a translated statement on his Facebook page. He hoped that the Hollywood star would "tell all the truth about Russia's invasion in our country."

They added that Sean Penn displayed the courage that so many other people, even Western politicians, lack. It will be easier to stop Russia's treacherous attack if there are more true friends of Ukraine than this.

Millions have been displaced by the Russo-Ukrainian conflict, and civilian deaths continue to increase.
