Shannon's former co-stars, her daughters and David's daughters expressed shock at the reunion.

"Real Housewives of Orange County star Shannon Beador has revealed that she and her former husband David Beador had a rare public encounter several years after their contentious divorce and nasty split.

The reality star shared a picture on Instagram of the ex-couples smiling and taking a selfie. Shannon, 59 said that she and David 58 ran into each other at The Quiet Woman in Corona del Mar.

Shannon, 59 tagged her ex in the caption of the photo.

She shared the selfie with her followers on Instagram, writing "@thequietwomancdm meeting #itsbeenyears."

Shannon's co stars and "RHOC's" fans were all shocked by the incident between the ex-lovers.

Tamra Judge jokingly said, "I guess I've left too early." Taylor Armstrong responded, "What an amazing night."

"Awe, your girls will be very happy," Vicki Gunvalson wrote in reference to Shannon and David’s daughters, Sophie, 21, twins Adeline, and Stella, 18-years-old.

All three girls then spoke up. "jump scare ? ? ?," Sophie wrote. Stella replied, "huh?" while Adeline said "what?"

Several fans have expressed their surprise on the comment section.

Dave Quinn, an author, also added his voice, writing "Didn't have this on my bingo card."

One person replied, "File it under things I never thought I'd see," while another said, "Has Hell frozen over?" It feels like hell is frozen over. ."

Shannon and David's encounter was their first public meeting after their 2017 split.

Shannon filed for divorce in December 2017, two months after the couple separated. Shannon and David's bitter divorce was marked by a nasty custody fight over their daughters, as well as disagreements about money. The divorce was finalized by April 2019.

Shannon began dating John Janssen in 2019 and continued until the end of 2022. David married Lesley Cook and welcomed a daughter a few weeks later. David divorced Cook in September of 2022.
