In June, the actress and her ex-husband had celebrated their first wedding anniversary.

Sophia Bush has split from Grant Hughes after just over a year together.

According to The People the 41-year old actress filed for divorce with Hughes on Friday just 13 months after they married in June 2022.

Sources told the outlet that Sophia and Grant had been friends for ten years. They bonded over their shared love of community service during COVID. They run their nonprofit together, and are still good friends.

Bush and Grant are yet to respond to the news of their divorce, but Grant has changed her Instagram name to "Hughes", reverting back to her maiden surname.

Bush and Grant celebrated their first wedding anniversary back in June. Both couples shared posts on Instagram to celebrate their anniversary.

Bush wrote in People that she had been calling Hughes husband for 365 days. The best decision of my entire life. Still feels like this. Ecstatic. Together, we run into the future while grinning and laughing. My favorite, I love you. "Happy Anniversary."

Her post was deleted after the news of her divorce.

Hughes' Instagram account still has many Bush-related posts, such as the anniversary post that featured a carousel with photos of Hughes and Bush.

"Happy 1st anniversary, my love!" "Happy 1st Anniversary, my love!" he captioned his most recent profile post. What a beautiful, exciting, dynamic and growth-filled year that we have had together. "I love living with you!"

After being friends for many years, the couple started dating during the pandemic in 2020. Bush and Grant announced in August 2021 that they were engaged. They married in Tulsa in Oklahoma in June 2022.
