The witness who shared the video on Facebook said that "this intersection has been an issue many, many years."

Texas truck driver had the scare of his life when his trailer became stuck on railroad tracks. This happened just as a train was coming through the town.

A woman from a nearby office shared a security video that captured the complete "truck vs. railroad accident" in Schertz Texas, Thursday. It shows a large truck carrying a trailer that was meant to transport other vehicles. At the 1:40 mark, it proceeds to cross the tracks.

As soon as they are trapped, the crossing gates start to fall as the red lights flash.

As the train's horn gets louder, someone can be seen jumping out of the passenger door seconds before it rams into the trailer, sending it flying down the tracks.

Schertz Police Department claims that nobody was hurt in the accident. However, it took hours to clear the area and caused street closures for 4-7 days.

"This intersection has been a problem for many, many decades. TX-DOT has been informed that large trucks cannot cross the tracks because the bottoms out." The caption was shared by the woman who uploaded the video.

They finally put a sign at the corner, a little further from the tracks, to warn drivers. She added that the driver can be directed to follow this route if they are told. "Unfortunately, some drivers aren't as fortunate as these guys today!"
