Giving gifts is one of the most enjoyable parts of the holidays. What about gift wrapping? This one is a bit tricky.

Sophie Liard, also known by the Folding Lady, has everything covered. You can wrap with fabric or no tape (yes, you don't need tape!) Liard covers the basics of wrapping, as well as the more obscure tricks.

Do not get caught in a sea of tape and crinkled paper again. These gift wrapping tutorials will help you elevate your holiday game.

Wrapping with tissue paper

It can be difficult to find a roll of wrapping paper for Christmas in December. Tissue paper is more popular than other types. Tissue paper in solid colors can also be used with ribbons and bows.
This tutorial will show you how to wrap gifts using only tissue paper and tape (the ASMR bonus is an added bonus).

Wrapping with Fabric

Don't panic if the tissue paper has not been cleaned at your local store. Liard has a tutorial.

In this tutorial, The Folding Lady proves that she is worthy of her name. She uses a spare scarf as a wrap for her gift. It is eco-friendly, reusable, and easy to use. Moreover, it's downright adorable.

Wrapping with Too-Small Pieces

Because I didn't cut it large enough, I would estimate that 40% of my wrapping paper ends-up on the ground. Well, no more!

Liard shows us how to change the gift's angle so that we put those leftover gift wrap pieces to good uses. Don't waste, don't want!

Wrapping without Tape

It's been a long time since you gave up on your last gift and now there is an empty Scotch tape spool right in front of it. Are you willing to brave the cold and go to Walgreens late at night? Perhaps last year. Maybe last year.

Before this video, wrapping gifts without tape seemed impossible to me. After watching the no-tape tutorial, Christmas miracles have become my belief.

The Folding Lady did not gain a large following on TikTok by despite her wrapping woes. It's just as impressive to see her advanced techniques.

Liard, for example, uses a unique technique to create eye-catching layers. You can slide a gift card or flower into the spaces.
