His obituary stated that Micah "brought tremendous light, laughter and loving into all the lives he touched. His presence will be missed."

The sudden and tragic loss of her brother has left one of TLC’s “Welcome to Plathville” stars in deep mourning.

Olivia Plath who has been married to Ethan Plath for over a year, announced on Instagram that she was taking a break from social media "for a while" after an accident with her brother. She wrote: "Don't be worried if you don’t see me around - I'm taking some time now." (via Us Weekly). "I lost my younger brother in an accident last night and I need clarity and space to grieve."

She also informed her followers on Tuesday that she was "still taking a break from social media due to a death in the family."

The Roanoke Times reports that Micah Meggs, Olivia's 15 year old brother, died on Thursday, May 4 after being struck by a vehicle while riding an electrical bike. The accident happened around 10pm. Both the teen, and the car, were in the same lane. The teen was declared dead on the scene.

State police are investigating the incident.

Micah's obituary described him as "a fun-loving" person whose "intrepid dedication characterized his life." The ninth child of ten, Micah, "enjoyed his time outside hunting, fishing and camping, and became an expert outdoorsman."

He loved to "hang out with his family and close friends and play practical jokes. He shared his sense of humor, and brought laughter to the people he cared about." Meggs' family was aware of his Cerebral Palsy. However, he never complained about it or allowed himself to be restricted by it. He continued to enjoy his outdoor activities in spite of this. He spent a lot time helping other people who suffered Brachial Plexus injury.

They shared that Micah had brought light, laughter, and love to every life he touched, and that his presence would be greatly missed. Instead of flowers, they asked for donations to The United Brachial Plexus Network.

Funeral services for the teen will be held May 11.
