Whitney Port and Tim Rosenman Considering Surrogacy

Port, who is struggling with secondary infertility, said: "It was never something I wanted to do. But now the idea of not having another child is too painful for me to bear."

Whitney Port and Tim Rosenman are looking to expand their families, and surrogacy may be the way they do it.

Port, in an interview with Us Weekly explained that she and her husband have not yet begun their journey but are considering surrogacy to help them conceive a second child.

The Hills alum said, "I'm still trying to figure things out, and nothing's 100 percent. So, you're afraid to share it until you understand what's going on." "For me, it was secondary infertility and the process of getting to a second child has been a long one, both mentally and physically." We're currently going through the motions, thinking about surrogacy and we have stored embryos.

"It is just a procedure." It doesn't just happen over night. It's an entire thing. I was not able to be happy, present, and a decent me. If this new path can be taken, I believe it would be a blessing for all. We'll see," said the woman, who revealed how "all-consuming" her first pregnancy was.

Port, 38 and Rosenman 42, welcomed their first son Sonny in July 2017. However, they have suffered several miscarriages ever since. The City alumna revealed that weeks after announcing her pregnancy in November 2021 she miscarried.

Port discussed the various routes that she and her husband took to achieve a healthy pregnancy. She also mentioned how they tried in vitro fertilisation (IVF), but had no success. One thing is important to the couple, however, and that's their life with Sonny.

"Oh my god, that's crazy!" It's so exhausting and difficult to raise a baby. Port said that now there is a schedule, and he's got a personality... it's so rewarding," she shared about her soon to be 6-year-old. "I'm enjoying it, and I'm also at the phase where he is getting bigger and you want to bring the baby back into the house."
