In this case, it is not true that "like father, same son" applies.

Will Smith sent his son Jaden Smith the best birthday wishes he knew how over the weekend. The Oscar-winning 'King Richard' actor teased his son in his Facebook post for not having children.

"Happy Birthday, J-Diggy. It's amazing that you are 25 ?!?! When I was 25, I had a 2-year-old. I'm only saying '...," Smith wrote next to a photo of himself embracing his son.

The fresh prince of Bel Air actor 54 and his wife Sheree welcomed their son Trey in 1992, when he had just turned 24.

They divorced after three years, and Smith married actress and singer Jada Smith in 1998. They have two children, Willow (22), and Jaden.

Pinkett Smith, who is 51, took to Facebook to wish her son happy birthday. She shared a picture in black and white of her kissing her child when he was still a baby.

The Red table Talk host posted on Instagram: "Happy 25th birthday my sweet, sweet Jaden!"

Although none of the Smith siblings has made their father a grandparent yet, each one has carved out a career as an actor or musician.

Jaden is best known for his rap career, but he has worked with his father on a number of on-screen projects since he was young. He has a diverse filmography, having appeared in The Pursuit of Happiness, The Karate Kid. In his father's autobiography, he revealed that after appearing alongside his father in the box office dud After Earth,, he requested to become an unrestricted minor at age 15.

" After Earth" was a box office and critic failure. What was even worse, Jaden was the one who took it. The fans and press were vicious. They said and printed things that I will not repeat. Will stated that Jaden had done exactly what I told him to, and that I had also coached him.

Jaden revealed in his memoir that psychedelics helped him strengthen his relationship with his parents and siblings. Jaden recently revealed that his mother was the one who introduced him to hallucinogenics.

Jaden recalled that his mother was the one who took the first step in the family. It was her all the way for a long, long time. Then, it slowly trickled out and everyone found their own way.

"Siblings are capable of arguing and fighting so much. I and my siblings know that we have done this in the past." The love and empathy I feel for them both inside and outside the psychedelic experiences is something profound and beautiful.
